"Fear Is My Homeboy" Book Club

Our book club this Summer has been SO good. We have all experienced some amazing ahas of realizing our priorities, hustling for joy, and leaning into the shift of putting ourselves first. I am so thankful for this book club, these conversations, and the mindset shifts we are ALREADY feeling. This is the work that matters - the vital SELF-work as we reset this Summer and move into the next school year ready to, as the author Judi Holler's mission states, "stop fear from stealing our opportunities so we can start connecting in powerful ways".

I LOVE seeing the amazing places you all have taken your book this Summer!

Fear Is My Homeboy - How does it benefit educators?

Have you ever felt FROZEN by fear in the classroom? Like those behavior challenges feel too BIG to tackle, you have a million things to do, and you find yourself spiraling into self-doubt?

Fear is My Homeboy flips that script! The author challenges us to embrace our fears and use them as fuel for bold action. When we shut down the self-sabotaging voice holding us back, we can transform those fears into catalysts for growth!

Her stories of finding her "inner badassery" will light a FIRE under us to stop playing small. Judi reminded us that fear is normal, but we can't let it BOSS us around. By reframing our perspective, we unlock the freedom to create more dynamic, engaging learning experiences for our students. We stop treading water and start making waves!

The best news? It's not too late to join us!
