Transforming Classrooms: How Educators are Taking Control and Finding Support

As an educator, you pour your heart and soul into your work, striving to create a positive and nurturing learning environment for your students. However, the reality of the classroom can often be overwhelming, leaving you feeling unsupported, frustrated, and alone.

Recent data from a survey conducted by SELebrate Good Times reveals the depth of the challenges educators face. When asked about the level of support they receive from their administration, many teachers expressed disappointment, frustration, and a sense of abandonment. One educator shared, "I don't feel safe in my class because my admin acts as if I don't exist and it's a very toxic environment when a principal has favorites or is out for something other than the ALL teachers' well-being."

"I was tired of false promises and lack of action from my admin..."

Another teacher expressed their frustration with the lack of action from their administration, stating, "I felt irritated and frustrated by my student's behavior. I also felt that there wasn't being enough done by the school counselor or administrator."

Many educators have shared stories of meetings with their administration, where promises of support and change were made, only to be followed by a lack of action and the excuse of insufficient funding. This has left teachers feeling disillusioned and unsupported in their efforts to create a positive learning environment for their students.

Finding Strength Within and Taking Action

Despite these challenges, a group of dedicated educators has decided to take control of their own well-being and the success of their students by investing in themselves and joining The Community at SELebrate Good Times.

Before joining The Community, many educators felt like they were "running in circles" and "putting out fires all day." They were exhausted, stressed, and felt like they were failing their students. As one teacher shared, "Before joining The Community, I felt like I was failing as a teacher. The anxiety and stress I felt at work got to a point where I couldn’t turn it off, even on the weekends. Behaviors were overwhelming and I felt like I was putting out fires all day long, which prevented me from doing all the academics and fun I dreamed of in my classroom!"

"I'm done waiting for my admin to support me. The Community has been a game-changer..."

However, by taking action and joining The Community, these educators have experienced a profound transformation. They now feel empowered, supported, and equipped with the tools and strategies they need to create a positive learning environment for their students. As one educator shared, "Now I come to school everyday feeling calm and confident in my ability to support students. They're making growth in all areas because of this work!"

Finding the Answers and Support You Need

One of the most significant benefits of joining The Community at SELebrate Good Times is the access to the guidance and support of Kim Gameroz. Many educators have expressed their gratitude for Kim's expertise and the tangible solutions she provides. As one teacher shared, "Since partnering with Kim, I now have a clear and consistent set of strategies that help my students stay focused on their learning. It's like having a supportive mentor who is always there to validate my experiences, recognize my dedication to my students, and provide fresh ideas that actually work."

The Community offers a safe space where educators can connect with others who understand their struggles, share their experiences, and learn from one another. This sense of community and support has been life-changing for many teachers. As one educator shared, "Before, I was running in circles to figure all things out. Now with KG, I feel all the things: supported, valued, seen, and treated with social intelligence."

"I no longer feel alone in my struggles as an educator..."
